what scanner do you have? most of the maxicom can, but is limited to a really small number of vehicles. my mk808bt will for some foreign cars i never see in my shop. i have a junkyard cluster (fx4) in my f150 (xlt screen went bad). forscan, my j2534 on ford IDS, my tuning software will not let me change it as truck has 140k and used cluster shows 289k

This is dependent on the vehicle you are working on

Mainly European cars RHD stuff. Otherwise invest in some eeprom tools teach
yourself how to pin right into cluster on the bench as mileage change via obd2 port is
    very limited.

I agree with you on the bench method, as I have a copy of AUDI for this. I suspect for
Autel, the function is restricted to the IM608 model to ensure they sell those devices.
My My908 shows the feature for European vehicles, but it fails whenever I try it (even
though I know the PIN for the instrument cluster by other means).

It works for me on ford fiestas and newer focuses with the DCT trans if I go In via
fordEU vs autovin to USA Ford. That's about it.
